  • What Social Networks Does Postful Support?

    Postful currently supports publishing to the following social networks: 

    • LinkedIn (profiles and business pages)
    • X (formerly Twitter) 
    • Instagram 
    • Threads
  • How much does Postful cost?

    Currently, Postful is available for free—with no subscription or one-time fees for all features. 

    Paid plans will be introduced at a later date and offer additional features and options for users. Details will be shared with users before any change is made.

  • On which devices can I use Postful?

    Currently, Postful is a web app that works on any device with a browser. You can access Postful on laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. 

    Please note: Postful is not yet fully optimized for smaller screens. We recommend using a larger screen for the best experience. 

    If mobile posting is critical to your workflow, please reach out to us at support@postful.ai so we can better understand and prioritize the request.

  • Can I connect multiple accounts of the same network to Postful?

    Postful currently supports only one account per social media network. Each Postful user can connect: 

    • one (1) Instagram account 
    • one (1) LinkedIn account and/or one (1) LinkedIn Page associated with the LinkedIn account 
    • one (1) X account 
    • one (1) Threads account

    If managing multiple accounts per network is important for your workflow, please let us know by contacting support@postful.ai. Your feedback helps us prioritize future feature development of multi-account support.

  • How Do I Change the Email Used for My Postful Account?

    To change the email linked to your Postful account, please email support@postful.ai 

    Include in your message: 

    • The current email on your account 
    • The new email you’d like to use 

    Our support team will update your account and confirm once the change is complete.

Media

  • What types of media can I add to posts with Postful?

    Postful currently supports adding one or multiple images to posts. Postful does not yet support GIF or video posts.

    Each network has its own posting requirements for the number of images that can be added to a post: 

    • X: up to 4 images 
    • Instagram: up to 10 images
    • LinkedIn & Threads: up to 20 images
  • Can I share posts without attaching media?

    Yes! You can publish posts that are text-only on most supported networks.

    • Threads 
    • LinkedIn 
    • X (Twitter) 

    Network Requiring Media

    • Instagram requires an image or video. Text-only posts are not supported. 

    Tip: Text-only posts are great for quick updates, thought leadership, or starting conversations

  • Where do images from “Find Image for Me” come from?

    “Find Image for Me”, an experimental feature to automatically identify stock images, uses Unsplash as the stock image provider. Images that are selected via “Find Image for Me” are licensed to be used for social posts by Postful users.

  • Can I post just an image without a caption?

    Yes — you can post an image or images without adding a caption to the following networks:

    • LinkedIn 
    • Instagram 
    • Threads 
    • X (Twitter) 

    Although captions aren’t required, captions help contextual images for your audience. If you are struggling to come up with a caption, use Postful’s brainstorm feature.
