Although Postful does not currently include a built-in link shortener, the application works well with your preferred link shortener and platform native link shorteners.

Using link shorteners with Postful #

You can still use any third-party link shortener:

1. Generate a shortened link using your preferred tool (e.g., Bitly, TinyURL, Rebrandly).
2. Paste the shortened link directly into your post in the Compose page.
3. Publish as usual.

Things to know #

• Some networks, such as X (formerly Twitter), automatically shorten links. In those cases, you may not need an external tool.
• When using the Brainstorm tab, shortened links do not always resolve correctly. For best results, use the full (resolved) link when generating posts from a link.
